With your back bent by the day's work, you ask your two collaborators for a few minutes to relax and warm you up. A good smell of tarte tatin invites you to pass by the kitchen where the grandmother has already served you a hot and freshly poured coffee. You don't have to wait long to invite Alice, Olivier and Christian to join you at the table to resume the discussion around possible future investments.

"Last year, we acquired three new plots thanks to Christian's prospecting work. Olivier, for his part, brilliantly negotiated the purchase of the renovation and expansion of the press, which is continuing. As I mentioned to you last month, I had all the trouble in the world to carry out my last vinifications, the capacity of Cuverie is no longer in phase with our production... we are dangerously short of vats and barrels. So I would like the investment that we are going to make to increase our wine storage capacity can be made quickly and can also allow us to diversify our winemaking methods. Now that we have Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, I think it would be interesting to work blends with aging in oak barrels to develop new cuvées and extend our range. Alice's oenological and marketing sciences."

The last sip of coffee swallowed, you greet your three guests and go to sit in the living room to finish reading the "News from Champagne".
